Introduction
Throughout the lifecycle of every project are fundamental issues of environmental sustainability. Focus directly addresses these through.
- Standard Assessment Procedure: required on all new dwellings, this calculates energy use and carbon dioxide emissions from heating.
- Simplified Building Energy Modelling: this calculation separates buildings into zones each then assessed for energy use and heat loss.
- Code for Sustainable Homes: certificates for individual dwellings ranging from carbon dioxide emissions through health and well being to ecology.
- BREEAM: trained assessments including options appraisals, certification and Travel Plans.
- Energy Performance Certificates: qualified Energy Performance Certificates on energy use, A-G rating, with recommendations.
- Display Energy Certificates: Certification for compliance with the European Union Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.
