EcoHomes

EcoHomes is the BRE Environmental Assessment Method for homes. EcoHomes was introduced in 2003 but was replaced by the Code for Sustainable Homes in April 2007.

Focus has provided a full consultation service for over four years, which includes initial project estimates, a final rating prediction with options for compliance and continued support to reach project certification.

Currently, Focus have 150 registered projects through our Licensed Assessors and we are working on several projects which are expected to continue through to 2010.

Focus offers a further service in the production of several key documents for supporting evidence, such as:

• Specific property layouts for home office, low energy lighting, cycle storage, etc
• Developers Worksheets
• Transport and Local Amenity Assessments
• Daylight Calculations

Assessments are often delayed due to late submission of supporting evidence.
