Karl is founder Director of Focus Consultants (UK) Limited with expertise in Project and Programme Management, Partnering, Facilitation and Value Engineering. He also has longstanding experience in business planning for sports, community, housing and commercial schemes.

Karl has led the company's emergence as a market leader in project management. He has in-depth knowledge of both funding regime requirements and the construction development process, giving him a fully rounded approach to most capital projects. He is particularly adept at developing project concepts and shaping these into deliverable packages, illustrated by his involvement in the £12 million Coalfield Community Landmarks Programme, the regeneration of Killamarsh Town Centre campus in Derbyshire and the Whittons Mill housing project in Lincolnshire.
