Focus was the retained consultant of the Ashfield Partnership, providing partnership support, capacity building, business planning and project development to this area of recognised multiple disadvantage on the Nottinghamshire Coalfield. As part of the CAP4 initiative, Focus produced a baseline report and community plans. The baseline shows the current socio-economic situation of the area and establishes the context for future monitoring, evaluation and progress. The community plans set indicative projects within a strategic framework.
